This is amazing time-lapse photography from the International Space Station – a much more “close-up” view of Earth than is typically portrayed. Note the beauty of the Aurora Borealis and the lightning displays. The amount of light pollution by inhabited regions is hard to fathom. No wonder it’s difficult to see the stars at night!
